'share of your love' opens with an easy warmth that feels like the last golden days of summer. which im very sad are gone, but this track makes it all worth while. the seven-piece band pull from a wide range of influences here, teskey brothers soul and elton john balladry sitting comfortably alongside alt-folk textures and funk rhythms, and somehow it all coheres into something that sounds their own. everything just fits with this, the accompanying video, filmed entirely on phones during a camping trip, captures the spirit perfectly: loose, joyful, unpolished in the best way. it's a debut single with real heart and serious groove.
