'idol' opens with gritty industrial beats and doesn't let up. the production is brilliantly aggressive, glitchy percussion, sinister basslines and relentless synthwave energy, but there's something theatrical in the vocal delivery that keeps it from ever feeling cold. it's horror-infused pop built for the club, drawing on the same energy as gaga or britney. the hook is unmistakably avant-garde, landing somewhere between vulnerability and absolute empowerment. but mainly it just rocks. it's bold, high-concept, and loads of dark, dark fun.
sonicfluxx is a las vegas based pop artist making electronic music for people who still want to feel something. raised on church choirs, '90s mtv, and endless rewatches of britney, *nsync, j.lo and janet jackson videos, he's been chasing that intersection of emotion and energy his whole life. after moving to los angeles in 2020 and performing at oc pride in 2021, he released his debut album in 2024, followed by a deluxe edition in 2025. this latest era pivots into darker, high-octane territory, and we hope we can announce some live dates soon. a stunner.
