stephen h. cumberbatch, known professionally as c'batch, is a composer, producer and independent recording artist from white plains, new york. his musical history stretches back to new york's early 1980s dance scene, with credits including 'i need you now' by sinnamon and 'let me do you' by nv, both enduring club recordings. in 1984, he and his wife yvette founded stevette music, inc., their independent publishing company, which remains home to his extensive catalogue. his 2026 vault series has opened up decades of unreleased material. four decades in and still making tracks this good is no small thing. we love it.
