graze on you is the first single from ratfink!'s upcoming album ratfunnk, and it's a lazy, lovestruck little thing. liv and raph trade vocals over a loose, sunlit groove that sits somewhere between slacker rock and rocksteady, all warm bass and 'hey let's chill out' hooks. the hook says it plainly: "with that smile, you know i could spend a while, i wanna graze on your sense of style," and the song never rushes past that feeling. i love the 90s elements to the production, and i love the lo-fi crush vibes here.
ratfink! are liv and raph, a duo who record diy pop songs in their share house in melbourne. they split vocal duties across every track and write about friends, relationships, coming out, and the state of the natural world, moving easily between rock n roll, rnb, and mellow dream pop without ever losing their bedroom pop core. it's the sound of a band you actually want to hang out with, making exactly the stufff they wanna make, and they're all the better for it.
