friend of the blog <3peace. is a solo artist from south carolina, handling all vocals and instrumentation himself. the release reflects his decision to turn down a major label deal that conflicted with his morals and relationship with god, drawing from mark 8:36 and the idea that gaining the world means little if you lose yourself. honest and direct, it stands firmly on authenticity, we're really excited about this artist and hope the run of vibey singles continues into the rest of 2026. one to watch.

the tide is a piano-led pop track about that moment when two people know a relationship is ending but cannot quite say it aloud. it's one of those heart in mouth moments in life, and noella captures the feeling beautifully. written spontaneously on a steinway piano, the song uses the pull of the tide as a metaphor for truth, acceptance and the pain of releasing someone with love. vocally, it's a stunning track and the tasteful production adds a huge amoutn to the mood.
noella rain is a manhattan-based singer-songwriter who has worked with producer and mentor jeff gruber at blue house productions since she was 15. now 23, she brings years of trust and creative growth into this final single before her upcoming album. recorded just outside washington, dc, it feels intimate, mature and emotionally clear, carried by the courage to stop fighting what is already moving. we really love this one.

holy man is an intimate piano-driven singer-songwriter ballad built around faith, hope and self-empowerment. played live in the studio, it carries a close, human sound, letting the voice, piano and message breathe without losing emotional weight or quiet intensity. i really love the production in this, it doesn't feel overdone or overproduced, or too saccharine like a lot of piano pieces. it's fantastic, and the piano performance is great.
fish and scale is the project of german artist roland wälzlein, who describes his work as independent folk music with a mystical touch. shaped by a serious childhood heart operation and later by the experience of silent retreat, his songs often look towards life’s deeper meaning. this release becomes a dialogue between the mind and an all-knowing inner presence, exploring freedom, peace and the wiser self we carry within. an essential listen this summer.
