inception of eternity craft a wonderfully dark, cinematic soundscape filled with all the right kinds of intensity
mother of dawn is all big, dramatic melodies that have a wonderfully full, orchestral intensity that i love. subtle? nope. but loads of fun? yes! i love the theatre of it all, and the vocal performance anchors the piece with clarity and real power. i guess it only really works because the melodies are honestly really great, particularly in the chorus section that just gets more and more gigantic. and combined with the real sense of scale, we’ve really got a banger on our hands here.
