BOXING CLUB BARE KNUCKLE CITY BOY

post-punk tension with grit, bite, and something to prove

“city boy” lands like a late night walk through streets that never soften.this is a track that feels like pacing city streets at night, jaw clenched, adrenaline humming just under the skin.

born out of london’s underground and straddling the glasgow to london divide, boxing club sound restless and wired. arpeggiated bass lines coil tight, guitars scrape and circle, and the vocal delivery cuts sharp and direct. everything feels tense and lived in, like pressure building with nowhere polite to go. it is confrontational, but there is clarity in that aggression, a sense of purpose rather than chaos.

“city boy” arrives as a single and marks a sharper step forward. it drags themes of aspiration, class pressure, nightlife and modern anxiety into the light and refuses to soften the edges. there is urgency here, sweat and grit and teeth bared honesty. it feels like a song written because it had to be, not because it would play well. raw, cathartic, and impossible to ignore.

thank u for making this boxing club 🥊
