TAMAR BERK FINDS CLARITY IN THE STATIC

‘stay close by’ by tamar berk feels like a plea whispered through reverb. glowing, tangled, and just on the edge of breaking. it’s the sound of trying to hold on to someone when your mind won’t stop spinning.

the california-based songwriter returns with the first single from her upcoming album ocd, and it’s everything she does best. blissed out fuzzy guitars, dreamy textured vocals, and lyrics that feel like looping thoughts at 3am. the chorus evokes getting high, going for a ride – themes that aren’t new – but manage to sound fresh and euphoric.

with the guitar solo, there’s a growing slow swirl of emotion, built on the need to be seen without having to shout. melancholy never sounded so gently electric. we love it.

thank u for making this tamar berk ❤️
