kill room is a heavy, propulsive rock track built from huge riffs, anthemic chorus energy and a darkly charged atmosphere. honestly if the intro doesn’t catch your breath, then are you really human? it follows debut single dragon of chaos with a sound designed to hit you hard. and guess what? it really works. there’s intricacy here, but also a load of force, and the two meet in a place that makes this track really work.
friend of the blog pray silence are an edinburgh band led by marky wildtype and sam siggs, also known through pillowfight cenobite, wes linton and garage punk outfit the head henchmen. slowly formed over years before reaching full strength, the project marks a return to something heavier for both artists. with a music video directed by local filmmaker sergio cosme and live plans brewing, the band arrive with weight, intent and a sharp identity. get this one out onto the stage lads, it would be fantastic. and we’re looking forward to more tracks soon.

teanko turns technology and memory into a dose of warm, questioning rock-pop
we still believe the voice is a melodic rock-pop track with warm guitars, cinematic atmosphere and a central question about emotional connection in an age of altered reality. we’ve been having similar thoughts these days, and it’s a pertinent question; can a voice can still move us when technology becomes part of the creative process? i like that teanko leaves the answer with the listener, and musically the message lands well, with a chorus that really lifts off.
teanko is the recording project of dutch singer-songwriter theo konst, now based in portugal. after decades of writing, producing and recording his own vocals, he trained an ai voice model only on his own archive, treating the technology as another instrument rather than a replacement. beneath the modern process sits a deeply human idea about memory, authenticity and the feeling carried in a lifetime of singing. a great concept, and an even better song.
