THE UNFAMILIARS? HOLD BOTTLES HIGH

the unfamiliars? deliver a stunning pop punk rush for 2026

bottles feels like winter chasing summer, all nervous energy and hazed nostalgia. it hits with that familiar pop punk ache, with a lovely drum part, where things feel just a little messy but hopeful. it’s warm, fast, and emotionally open in the way the best genre tracks always are.

The Unfamiliars?, based in athens, greece, make pop punk that leans into fun and desperation in equal measure. formed during the first quarantine and built with a fully diy spirit, the project blends old-school melodies with energetic guitars and a slightly scrappy honesty. their music feels lived-in, driven by connection rather than polish.

as a track, bottles balances bounce and vulnerability really well. it’s catchy, produced wonderfully, and there’s a great movement to it. like it’s meant for shouting along to with friends, late at night, remembering better days while still pushing forward. a great track.

thank u for making this the unfamiliars? 💛
