a wide-open, shout-it-back indie rock moment built for collective release
first listen and it hits straight away. bright, urgent, and emotionally direct, heaven on earth moves with a glorious purpose, turning everyday frustration into something shared and energising. it doesn’t sit quietly with its feelings, it pushes forward with a queen-like stunner of a vocal, inviting you to join in. big hooks land and there’s such a great momentum.
Chandra are a bristol-based power pop and indie rock project with a knack for writing songs that feel communal rather than inward-looking. the vocal leads with conviction without tipping into preachy territory, supported by tight drums and bright guitar lines that know exactly when to punch and when to ease off. it’s polished, but there’s still a lot of grit at the edges, which keeps everything feeling human and grounded.
the call-and-response sections are the heart of the track. they’re built to be shouted back, designed for rooms full of voices, fists in the air, and that shared release only a great chorus can bring. the production keeps things clean and focused, letting the message and melody work hand in hand. we’d absolutely love to see this live.
heaven on earth captures chandra’s ongoing mission to turn real struggle into something uplifting. it’s direct, cathartic, and reassuring, the kind of song that leaves you feeling a little less alone. it’s definitely our favourite chandra release so far, and we hope it sets them up for a great 2026.
thank u for making this chandra ❤️
