ALLA IGITYAN HOLDS THE PEACE

a beautiful folk song that leans into care without flinching

i felt my shoulders drop on the first listen to this one. in recognition of carrying other people’s moods around all day without being aware. ‘peacekeeper’ – the new song from alla igityan – moves slowly into this mood, but it definitely stays with me. so we’re super happy to write about it today.

alla igityan is a singer songwriter based in berlin, working in a soft edged folk lane, and she writes with the patience of someone who has learned to wait things out. there is something grounded about her beautiful voice, like she has spent time listening before saying anything. it feels like a person who notices the room, not just herself in it.

the music keeps its distance from drama. acoustic lines breathe, space is left alone, and nothing rushes you. this feels like a moment of trust, both in the listener and in herself, sort of choosing honesty over protection. more of this please.

thank u for making this alla igityan ❤️
