a glowing slice of electronic pop that leans into release
this electronic banger comes in gently. it feels like being reminded you can still drift away in your mind, even when everything around you is fixed. ‘take me away‘ feels kind of soft on the nerves in a way i didn’t realise i needed.
jules davidson is a london based singer songwriter working in that emotional electronic pop lane, and a friend of the blog too. her voice always carries something lived in, like she’s not rushing to impress anyone. linking up with producer rijøbi feels natural. there’s trust in how this is put together, nothing fighting for space, just a wonderfully shared intention with a slightly 90s vibe.
the rhythm moves forward without insisting. synths glow rather than flash, and the vocal sits right in the centre, calm but determined. it feels like motion without panic, like travel imagined rather than planned. we genuinely love it.
thank u for making this jules davidson ❤️
