STRUTTER STARE DOWN THE CHAOS OF ‘MODERN LIFE’

a stunning indie pulse wrapped in 80s colour

‘Modern Life’ opens like a portal being prised apart. Strutter’s new single feels a bit like a mirror and a warning, a swirling anthem for anyone feeling the churn of the world tightening around them. It feels haunted and defiant at the same time, like walking through a city lit entirely by flashing signs and distant sirens.

Based in Dublin, the Irish four piece bend alternative rock into something cinematic and slightly warped. Vincent Brennan’s vocals move between tenderness and grit, wrapped in phased acoustic riffs that spin like a carousel gone slightly off its axis. Shane Noonan’s lead guitar cuts through the atmosphere with a smoky, stadium sized confidence, while rev Al Barton and Ste Ryan give the track its pulse, shadowy and insistent. Their sound nods to 70s giants yet carries the experimental edge of a band intent on exploring every emotional corner. The production glows with retro sci fi tension, the kind that makes your skin prickle.

This single leads their forthcoming EP and lands as a charged reflection on how we cope when everything speeds up. Heavy, hypnotic and deeply human, it lingers long after.

thank u for making this strutter ⚡
