MOON CONSTRUCTION KIT IGNITES WITH ‘CHEMICALS’

a power goth pop eruption built from bruised emotion

‘Chemicals’ does not unfold, it detonates. Moon Construction Kit returns with a single that feels like stepping into a room where every shadow is wired with electricity. The track surges with the vertigo of feeling too much, then collapsing into the stillness that follows, a spiralling rush captured in a sound equal parts menace and melody. It crackles like neon rain falling on concrete at midnight.

Lausanne based artist Olivier Cornu builds this world alone and you can hear the precision in every layer. Indie rock grit, late 60s psych pop colour and moody synth textures collide, shaping a sound that is intricate yet immediate. His cinematic production moves with both elegance and abrasion, while the dark pop pulse hints at The Cure meeting the melodic clarity of power pop. The track’s adrenaline charged edges carry the tension of someone wrestling chaos, seeking a moment of relief that never fully arrives. It is visceral, stylish and unmistakably his.

‘Chemicals’ marks his most intense release yet, a sharp evolution of the universe he has been constructing since his debut EP. It is brooding, propulsive and fiercely personal, a jolt straight to the nerves.

thank u for making this moon construction kit 🖤
