‘nostalgia’ by my state bursts with pop-punk shimmer, female-fronted and full of hooks that carry both longing and lift. it’s the kind of song that feels like a mixtape memory – raw, catchy, and tinged with the ache of remembering something brighter than it was. it’s honestly stunning.
formed in málaga but born in a lancashire kitchen, siblings heth and her brother wrote the skeleton of this track before teaming up with producer pablo. together they’ve bottled the spark of 90s pop-punk and poured it into something both familiar and fresh.

‘nostalgia’ reminds us that missing someone often means we’re really missing a version of ourselves. big riffs, sing-along choruses, and a heart that beats with retro energy. can’t wait for what’s next from these guys.
thank u for making this my state 💫
