‘sleep talk’ by soundtrack gospel feels like drifting between midnight thoughts and morning light – hazy, melodic, and full of unspoken weight. it’s music that carries both the intimacy of a whisper and the expanse of a skyline.
the london-based project of jack gee, soundtrack gospel blends dreampop shimmer with alt-rock grit, layering washed-out guitars, analog textures, and synth tones pulled through warped chains of modulation. the result is hypnotic but grounded, nostalgia bathed in reverb. it also just absolutely slaps.
written on a retreat in wales and first demoed on cassette, this single builds on the introspection of his debut ep and marks a bold step toward what’s next. fragile and euphoric at once, it’s music that lingers like the remnants of a dream. we can’t wait for what’s next.
thank u for making this soundtrack gospel ❤️
