PLASTIC SOLDIERS CARVE TIME INTO MEMORY

‘borrowed time’ by plastic soldiers aches with reverence. a record that feels like a handwritten letter passed between generations.

based in pennsylvania, this father-son duo crafts rich, reflective rock that echoes with classic warmth and personal truth. i honestly can’t imagine being in a band with my dad, but if the results were this good i’d maybe consider it. the album’s production hums along with the textures of the british invasion, guitars that shimmer like old film reels, and a vocal delivery that’s just beautiful and human.

musically, the beatles are all over this, but tastefully-like. there’s also a touch of elvis costello on standout bangers ‘love for the ages’ and ‘borrowed time’. combine this world with some solid production, and it’s a debut that is seriously impressive. family, fragility, and the tiny, shining moments that make it all worth it.

thank u for making this plastic soldiers, look forward to the follow up ❤️
