HYPORADAR LAYS LOW AND HITS HARD

‘this ain’t the day i die’ by hyporadar feels like a smoke break you didn’t know you needed. it’s wonderfully bass-heavy, deadpan, and just the right kind of defiant. it walks the tightrope between spoken word and sludge groove – with the help of a cowbell – we’re definitely here for it.

hailing from small-town maine, shane duquette built this one in his basement – no guitar, no band, just murky vocals and a rhythm section that moves like molasses with purpose. the influence of morphine and CAKE runs deep here, but it’s more than homage – it’s a low-lit lane of its own.

remastered and re-released, this track still growls with the quiet confidence of someone who’s been overlooked – and learned to like it that way.

thank u for making this hyporadar ❤️
