lunarover’s new banger ‘fountains’ is a burst of hope disguised as heartbreak. seems like we’re finding the band at their most nostalgic and most alive, and we love it.
based in maryland, this diy dream-pop duo blend fuzzed-out guitars, thrifted reed organs, and vibraphone shimmer into something deeply human – like a sonic scrapbook of what it means to feel again. itβs m83 meets devo with a tape-hiss heart. it also sort of manages to be poppy but also weird as fuck – and that’s an impressive combo.
the new single was built in basements but also feels like it’s soared through a few clouds a bit. a love letter to resilience and quiet reinvention. more of this please, america.
thank u for making this lunarover β¨
