in the valley of the cherry trees, nothing is quite what it seems. glass rumours cast a spell with branches, bark, and boldness.
based in dunstable, this self-produced band leans into retro textures with a devilish wink. think woodland percussion, eerie storytelling, and vocals that glide like smoke through the trees. we love the lyrical flair in this, with ‘i put my spell on you, and all you do’. it’s theatrical and tactile, like a fairytale whispered through an old amp. also – in another unexpected turn of events – this folk song also just kinda rocks.
even more excitingly, this latest single is part of their five-song drop. we hope there’s more weird and wonderful myths wrapped in rock-pop swagger. all power to them.
thank u for making this glass rumours ✨
