Phraxia – Nick Pike

nick pike’s phraxia is a gently mesmerising body of work, full of soft edges, hushed intention and quiet strength. musically it’s piano-led melodies and delicate synth layers that stun, and it paints scenes that feel as introspective as they are cinematic.

the england-based musician delivers an album where each piece feels carefully placed, from the tender rise of ‘whispertide’ to the lilting dance of ‘abaluna’, and the delicate tribute of ‘für beethoven’. there’s a shimmer here which whispers rather than shouts and i can’t really think of a new album i’d like to hear more on a sunday afternoon.

phraxia balances intimacy with expansiveness, and invites you to breathe, to reflect, to drift. it’s the kind of album that rewards stillness, a quiet companion for focus and rest. and we love it.

thank u for making this nick pike 🌙
