it’s not often we come across that just sounds like it should be fucking massive, but alex cherney & the brothers nylon are it.

this it’s a full-body dream, stitched from groove, warmth, and sunlight that jungle wish they would have written. the album drifts like a summer afternoon with nowhere to be – soft soul, playful rap, foreign language vocals and disco shimmer all flowing like water between songs. whoever is on bass i basically want to marry.

it’s lush, lighthearted, and im basically not going to a pool party if they’re not playing this. the mood is glowing, and in these touch times it’s really nice to hear something so joyful, with a retro-flair that never feels like pastiche.
