a lo-fi love letter to doing something with your summer
it’s 36 degrees in lisbon today. and i’m writing this music review. should i be at the beach? should i be scrolling at golden hour? or engaging with the world?
these are the questions that lincoln-based wonky pop lads oreaganomics are dealing with on ‘wasting summer online’. and we fucking love it. they’re wrapping social disconnection in fuzzy guitars and lo-fi charm. it’s part warning, part summer jam and a lot good.
it’s over quickly but there’s a real talent in the vocals and melodies here. if i had a vote, i’d say please make an album of this, keep the woozy humour, the cute backing vocals and the bird samples. we love it.
thank u for making this oreaganomics ๐ช
