Hidden You/Hidden Me – Tom Leonard

great to see friend of the blog tom leonard back with another 90s-infuenced banger. hidden you/hidden me feels like a secret whispered across an echo chamber of shoegaze and late-night thought spirals.

it’s beautifully bruised, and a slightly more adventurous than his previous work – mixing in bold rhythms and a stunning breakdown. but it’s still soft and hazy in the best possible way. it’s anchored by a monster of a bassline that propels the whole thing like a second heartbeat.

the manchester-based musician has once again made a set of lyrics that sink into the skin, all about masks, memory, and the things we can’t say out loud. it’s dreamy, weighty, and full of tension that never quite resolves. it’s a big track, and we honestly can’t wait to hear more from tom.

thank u for making this tom leonard 🌘
