there’s a specific kind of music that doesn’t just play, it pulls. warmer, closer. klaverson’s above ground is exactly that… a seven-track stunner that covers growth, light, and the quiet power of choosing to keep going.
from the opener better man, it’s clear this is vibey stuff. lush, immersive and vocal-led, this banger leans into the messy bits of becoming vulnerable but with ur head up. rising follows with clarity; sharp, steady, and somehow both intimate and huge.
shinjuku (interlude) does what all good interludes should: gives you a wee pause. and then we’re into pure neon summery vibes.
wouldn’t be a stretch to call this a contender for ep of the summer. it’s got the feels, the songwriting and the production sparkle that makes us wanna spin it again and again.
honestly, it’s hard not to be moved by the intention here. above ground feels like a kind of ep for when you need reminding you’re not the only one trying to rise.
thank u for making this klaverson x
