hugooooo. wow. this one hits somewhere deep and slow. ‘s.m.s.tt.d.’ is warm and unhurried – like you’ve been walking home for hours and just spotted the first light in the window. the gospel glow, the cinematic vibe, the way the r&b-style vocal holds space without pushing too hard – it’s heavy, hopeful, and totally gorgeous.

there’s also something really powerful in how it builds – the choir rising like a memory you didn’t know you still had. and the lyrics feel really ‘lived’, rather than written. it’s also just loads of fun too, so we’re loving bringing hugo oak to the blog.
