This one’s like opening a window at golden hour and letting the cool summer wind do the talking.
Julandjim’s Road to Monte Clerigo is an stunning instrumental. it doesn’t get you with volume, it’s more an ‘under the skin’ vibe with atmosphere. recorded live in a sun – soaked apartment in the south of France, every note feels calm, unhurried and where it should be.
there’s a cinematic world in this. i’m missing my french wife before the second chorus, and i don’t even have one.
it’s all dusty reels, rural landscapes, Morricone with a French filter. there’s a stillness in it, but also something quietly epic. no words needed. just two guitars, one take, and a feeling that maybe you’re not as alone as you think.
thank u for making this julandjim x
