Nonsense – Luan Luan

there’s a kind of bravery in turning pain into something this bright.

spanish-born, brighton-based luan luan breaks a four-year silence with a punchy, sax-dipped anthem about toxic love and waking the fuck up. nonsense is part disco flash, part bedroom howl – a song that starts with obsession and ends with confrontation.

it sort of sounds like someone taking their place in life, refusing to keep playing along. “are you gonna sing that song?” they ask – and the answer, this time, is no.

also shout out to the saxophone moment halfway through, it’s an absolute vibe. it’s like luan luan reached into their chest, listened to all the confusion, and gave it a wee melody. best of all, it absolutely lands.

one of those tracks that hits on first listen, and slaps the more you hear.

thank u for making this luan luan x
