big guitars. lush soundscapes. a stunning, ethereal vibe that lingers like a memory you can’t quite place.
vancouver’s in the afterglow delivers a shoegaze gem in words we couldn’t say — a track that swirls and drifts, evoking regret, reflection and all the stuff we never said.
there’s a little bit of Ride in the reverb-drenched haze, a flicker of Life Without Buildings in the emotional intensity, and an artist who clearly knows how to let a sound bloom. stunning guitar work too.
the vocals float beautifully, and i’ll definitely be returning to their work.
file under: shoegaze sadness, sunset catharsis, emotional weather.
thank u for making this in the afterglow x
