when i listen to real lies, i feel like transporting back to 1994, stealing a renault laguna and smashing it into allders.

the thing is though, it’s banging music. ice cold 90 string stabs. great lyrics. such a lovely vibe. i really like this band, i can’t believe it’s been 10 years since their debut. pet shop boys or streets comparisons aside, i sort of love that there’s a world here. the art, the look, the music. i’m glad this music exists, and i’m a fan.
