initially, i find it sort of impossible to ignore the weird fishes/radiohead similarities in this. but 30 seconds in – i’ve forgotten all about mr yorke and am firmly focused on joni. this is a beaut. i love the vocal. i love the song. there’s some tasteful production which help to make it grow wonderfully.

the song peaks with one of the best hooks ive heard this year so far – ‘now i worry for a living, and i used to sleep at night’….. that was a goosebumper for me (technical term). basically it’s a banger.
