like all my favourite electronic music, this remix has a deep sense of joy, combined with an uneasy sense that the very same joy is always fleeting.

the ingredients are all in order here – sun-drenched synths, tasteful hi hats and balaeric bongos- you know what’s up. i really like soshi takeda, for me he’s making the coolest stuff from japan atm. bowaswell is a new name for me, but on the strength of this i’ll definitely be checking their stuff.
