this isn’t a new song – it’s from 2021 – but i heard it last week and just loved it. its unclear to me if sam tudor is a man or a band but whatever the personnel, this is beautiful slice of downtempo indie that sits well on a sunday afternoon. featuring a great hook and also a kinda ambling vibe that never gets dull, it manages to simultaneously catch your attention but also exists as something beautifully pleasant. that’s not easy to do, and i’ll be keeping an eye out for whatever’s next.
