i love the idea that the 80s happened but there’s unfinished business. luckily, there’s a few bands out there that agree. who sort of honour that lineage while avoiding pastiche. and giving me all the feels.

one of them is choir boy which i’ll talk about another time, but the other is korine. i think they’re american, its big synths big choruses big everything. i just feel like i’ve been spurned at the school disco and it’s 1986 and i fucking love it. they just put out a new album and here’s the great first track from it.
